Dr. Wood is the second in his family to dedicate his life to the education and care of the human body through Chiropractic.  Dr. Wood received his education and training at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic.  He also received training at Cal State Northridge in spinal cord injury and stroke victim rehab.  He has over thirty years of experience in the care and treatment of auto, sports, home and work-related injuries.  Dr. Wood also has experience treating patients of all ages, from Pediatric to Geriatric care.
 

Dr. Takaki is not only Wood Family Chiropractic’s licensed Acupuncturist, she is also a Doctor of Chiropractic.  Dr. Takaki received her chiropractic education and training at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in Whittier, California.  She went on to receive her Masters degree in Oriental Medicine from Samra University of Oriental Medicine in Los Angeles, California.  Dr. Takaki has always been interested in holistic healing and alternative medicine, and has even traveled to China to advance her studies of Eastern medicine.  She is committed to creating treatment plans personalized to each patient.  She also treats patients with compassion and aims to stimulate the body’s natural healing potential without the use of drugs or surgery.  With her combined knowledge of Western and Oriental Medicine, Dr. Takaki’s treatments have helped many patients attain new levels of health and wellness.
